August 2022 Price List Changes Summary

Structural price list items added for the August 2022 price lists

1. APPGDAIR

Garbage disposer air switch
(+)

  • Included: Garbage disposer air switch and installation labor.
  • Quality: Standard finishes. May be single or dual outlet. Includes drilling hole in countertop if needed.

  • Included: Labor cost to remove a garbage disposer air switch and to discard in a job-site waste receptacle.

  • Quality: High grade. May be single or dual outlet. Includes drilling hole in countertop if needed.

3. DRYCBEAD

Corner bead – per LF
(+)

  • Included: Metal corner bead, joint compound (mud), screws, and installation labor.
  • Notes: This item is intended for small repair(s) by a tradesperson already on the job performing additional tasks and/or as an additional
    line item for jobs with excessive amounts of corner bead compared to the assumptions for the normal drywall line items. This item may also
    be used when a special trip is required for the corner bead only and the automated minimum adjustment is used.

  • Included: Labor cost to remove corner bead, including screws and/or nails, and to discard in a job-site waste receptacle.
  • Notes: Drywall contractors will generally include the removal of the corner bead in the overall per square foot removal price of the drywall.
    This removal activity is intended to be used when the corner bead is being removed independently of the other drywall on the job. Ultimately,
    how this is estimated is up to the parties involved.
4. DRYWDR

Drywall window return – up to 6″
(+)

  • Included: Drywall, metal corner bead, joint/texture compound (mud), joint tape, screws, and installation labor.
  • Excluded: Heavy or complex texturing or texturing/blending beyond the face of the return.
  • Notes: This item is intended to be used for repair purposes and as an additional line item in situations where there is an excessive amount of
    window returns within a specific job. Assumptions are included for a basic finish or a non-complex smooth wall finish or a light machine texture
    for both the specific area of drywall being replaced and the required blending to match the existing drywall. If additional texture is needed to
    blend beyond the area being replaced and initial feathering, or if more heavy or complex texturing is being used over the entire surface, etc.,
    then additional line items or adjustments may be needed to compensate.

  • Included: Labor cost to remove 1/2″ drywall, including screws and/or nails, corner bead, and to discard in a job-site waste receptacle.
  • Notes: Drywall contractors will generally include the removal of the window return in the overall per square foot removal price of the drywall.

    how this is estimated is up to the parties involved.

Miscellaneous changes made for the August 2022 price lists

  • Changes to Connecticut sales tax jurisdictions: Due to recent conversations with the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services, the following jurisdictions were updated in regards to hazardous waste materials (HMR category): 6.35% Contentds Only, 6.35% Fire Wtr Wind, 6.35% New Constr, 6.35% Res Repr/Remod.

Possible future changes and/or additions under review for upcoming price list publications.
